Round Biedermeier extendable table in cherry wood from Southwest Germany around 1830
Cherry veneered and solid. Ebonized notches around the edge.
Original extension mechanism in solid oak. Tapered square legs with inlaid ebony band.
Three 50 cm (19.7 in) inlay plates / leaves in cherry veneer (added during restoration)
When fully extended, the table offers seating for approx. 12 people
Restored and hand-polished with shellac.
