Description
Small, round, three-legged Biedermeier sewing table with flap from Southern Germany around 1820.
Cherry veneered and solid, partly ebonized. Three-legged with intermediate tableau and rung railing.
Original brass fittings and iron lock. Interior with several subdivided compartments. Top plate strongly bend. Star-shaped veneer on the top, some veneers replaced and ebonized circle inlay
Restored condition, hand polished with shellac.
