Pair of Rectangular Branco and Preto Coffee Tables in Caviuna Wood, Brazil 1960s
-
Description
Branco and Preto coffee tables in caviuna made in Brazil in the 1960s.
Designed in a rational and geometric way, these handmade Branco and Preto coffee tables have an open and elegant appearance. Both are made of a combination of solid and veneer caviuna wood and are executed with a glass top that is embedded in the wooden frame. Underneath the glass is a wooden shelf, which has a somewhat floating appearance due to the extending shelves in combination with the recessed legs. The strong lines and proportions, that at the same time are light and simple are characteristic for the work of Branco and Preto. -
