Champlevé and cloisonné enamel mounted white onyx and gilt bronze table

Description
This stunning occasional table is crafted from onyx, gilt bronze, and champlevé enamel, the result being a beautiful combination of colours, textures, and materials. The square tabletop, of white onyx, is edged with a gilt bronze mount, the gilt bronze inset with beautiful champlevé enamelwork, wrought from blue, red, and white enamel. The tabletop is supported by four closely nestled onyx columns, the capitals and bases of the columns mounted with gilt bronze likewise inset with champlevé enamel, and the central band of each column also adorned with enamel inset gilt bronze. The four columns rise from a square onyx base, which is raised by four gilt bronze paw feet.
