Tommi Parzinger, Charak Modern, Mid-Century Modern, Dining Table, Bleached Mahogany, Brass, 1954
Modern dining table designed by Tommi Parzinger (American, 1903-1981) and produced by Charak Modern in the United States. The original Charak Modern label is present, stating the item number and production date of 1954. The entire table has been refinished. There are four modernist brass accents at the top of each leg and the entire table top has a narrow ebony inlay band. There is a hidden compartment under the table with a leg that can be used for additional support when all four leaves are inserted.
