Description
This amazing brass and Lucite coffee table by Hollis Jones is quite possibly his most exquisite design.
Known for his innovation with the use of Lucite and metal, Hollis Jones is a master at combining elegance and wit. The brass lattice work of the base shows his talent in seamlessly blending forms.
The top brass lattice seems to float on air while the bottom lattice provide a solid base. Truly genius. This particular table was custom-made for a home in Reno Nevada in the 1960s and it was acquired from a family member of the original owner.
The table is in excellent original condition, the brass is clean and with a nice aged patina, the glass is free of chips or cracks.
Measurements:
83 inches wide x 36 deep x 17 inches high.
The table is in original condition with the original glass top.
The glass has a couple of chips that are not really noticeable when installed, the brass has an aged patina with some parts lighter and some darker as shown in the photos, we can have the brass polished and the glass replaced for an additional fee.
Please contact us if you need a quote to replace the glass and polish the brass. -
