Fine Chinese export campaign or travel secretary the top with foliate carved backsplash over lifting lid, the fall front with molded raised panel doors having brass inlaid diamonds, the interior with two rows of drawers and with central pigeonholes and blue leather writing surface, the base with retractable split legs to support desktop, the whole in richly figured and very dense hardwood, (possibly Hanghuali?) possessing a good rich surface.

Size below closed. Upper section 28"x 13" x 20" Base30" high and opens to a depth of 25 1/2"
