Exquisite 19th C Italian Louis XVI Style Gueridon / Game Table. Beautifully executed the wood marquetry of this table offers versatility in function as the top is removable. One side features an inlaid chess field & the opposite side has an inlaid village scene. An original leather top adorns the drum top. There are 2 drawers as well as 2 pull out shelves - all with the original bronze hardware. The table apron features inlaid geometric design typical of the Louis XVI period. Slender square tapered legs terminate with bronze casters. This stylish table is well suited for placement between 2 chairs or at the end of a sofa & the perfect size to place a lamp.
