Beautiful Mid-Century Modern teak expandable dining table, circa 1970’s. Featuring richly grained, gleaming teak and smooth, clean lines characteristic of classic Danish design. This remarkable dining table comes with two extension leaves to accommodate extra seating, transforming seating capacity from four to six or eight. With two leaves inserted, this table expands to 98 1/2″ (8.21 feet) long! Well-crafted with synchronous extension, which accommodates the need for just one person to extend the table for easy access. The clever design allows for each leaf to be concealed within the hidden storage beneath the table, making this remarkable table effortless to remove or stow leaves. Two pedestal feet, connected by a stretcher, provide stable support. Perfect table for a kitchen or dining room, and due to size flexibility, will function wonderfully in a small or large space.
Condition Report: Base is stable and sturdy; wood shows minimal wear; extension hardware operates smoothly.
