Early Georgian Counting Table

Description
A very fine George II mahogany counting table, the rectangular folding top opening to a ratcheted writing/drawing tablet with crossbanded edging on a conforming case with applied bulged apron. The case is fitted with working drawers and is finished on all sides. The apron has shell carved center appliques while the cabriole legs are acanthus carved with Queen Anne padded feet.
