Description
The Wise dining table, as shown, has a solid walnut base with blackwood "keys" or pegs capturing the arching stretcher between the tapered leaning posts of each trestle. The posts are anchored with mortise and tenon joinery into the feet which are hand sculpted to elegant, fluid forms. The top is bubinga veneered with a walnut border separated by blackwood inlay. The pictured version has a central blackwood inlay motif as well as splines where the border pieces join on at the table edge. This table could be recreated in a variety of woods/veneers or with a solid plank top. Please contact me for pricing.
