Description
The T69 table was designed by Osvaldo Borsani and Eugenio Gerli in 1965. A characteristic feature of the table is the load-bearing structure built by the crossed interlocking of two equal metal elements with an enamelled internal part. The choice of black seems to thin the thickness and accentuate the curve, making it even lighter to create a soft and iconic silhouette. For the tops, different materials as glass, marble and wood (walnut/rosewwood) have been used. The table is in good conditions. Minor sign of wear on the black painted part of the metal base, as can be seen on the pictures. The top is in perfect conditions, apart from small bulges corresponding to the screws that secure the base (photo no. 2). The wood has no splits or cracks and is perfectly intact.
