This fantastic dining or conference table is absolutely massive. At 96 inches long and 54 inches wide, it dwarfs nearly all others on the market today. And with its extremely rare 4 legged base, this is one of the most special MCM Knoll classics available. The walnut top is a pleasant elliptical shape and is made of beautifully bookmatched slabs and an elegant knife-edge profile tipped with a bullnose shape piece of solid walnut trim. Florence Knoll designed this to replace the traditional square dining or conference table because she thought the rounded shape was better suited for personal communication, and this table certainly succeeds. A well preserved, rarely seen, early table that we are certain you will love!

Condition: Complete professional restoration. Includes chemical stripping of top. Hand-sanding in direction of grain. Light teak tone stain. Professionally sprayed satin sheen laquer top coat - 3 layers. Hand-burnished with fine steel wool and wax. You will love how we have preserved the original patina and organic design feel in this sensitive and thoughtful restoration.
