This classic, vintage piece of furniture art was crafted in the 1950s by renowned Italian designers Franco Albini and Franca Helg. Expertly made of elegant teak and assembled by means of screws and two dark brass pulleys which ensure the stability of the frame. The 1950s Italian Teak Table by Franco Albini and Franca Helg is both sophisticated and timeless.
Franco Albini was an Italian architect, urban planner, and furniture designer from the 1930s to the 1960s. He studied at Milan’s famous Politecnico and apprenticed under famed architect-designer Gio Ponti. He was highly celebrated for his work on important architectural projects in Italy such as the Rome Rinascente building and Milan subway stations. Natasha founded MONC XIII in 2012 with her husband, Matt Coffin. Prior to MONC XIII, Natasha was an Interior Designer in Los Angeles and earlier in her career was the President of Wilhelmina Models.
