Description
A Frank Lloyd Wright low square mahogany cocktail or center table for Heritage Henredon's Taliesin line of furniture that was briefly in production between 1955 and 1956.
The Greek key motif that borders the top and each of the four vertical supports of this Model 450-B is the trademark of the Taliesin group of furniture designs, which seems to draw inspiration more from the earlier mahogany interiors of his Prairie School designs than his contemporaneous Usonian works which used lighter woods.
Nicely scaled and visually a different weight in comparison to his 26" Model
452-C coffee table (see separate listings).
The table is in very good condition
