A French Louis XV style walnut side table from the mid-19th century with single drawer and hoofed feet. Born during the reign of France's last Emperor Napoleon III, this French walnut side table features a rectangular top with molded edges and canted corners, sitting above a long frieze drawer. Opening with a brass ring pull, this dovetailed drawer rests on a discreetly carved apron. The table is raised on four elegant cabriole legs with cut-out motifs on the knees, and hoofed feet adorned with acanthus leaves. With its graceful lines and lovely walnut patina, this French side table, circa 1860 will compliment any décor beautifully, whether placed in a living room, bedroom or hallway.
