French 18th Century or Earlier Farmhouse Table
-
Description
This stunning provincial oak farmhouse table, from France, is 18th century or earlier. As expected with furniture of this age and amount of use, there are several honest repairs with various types of woods - many of which can be seen in the detailed images. Of straightforward design, the table-top offers enough legroom for seating on the ends. It is supported by square-cut legs which are joined by a single stretcher on each end. This remarkable 200+ year-old table, with its incredibly rich, warm patina, has been the sight of many meals and gatherings and would be an excellent conversation starter at your next dinner party!
