French 19th Century Fruitwood Extending Table
-
Description
A gorgeous extended dining table from 19th century France. The vibrant fruitwood has gained a wonderful patina over the years and will effortlessly add so much character to your dining area. A narrow inlay of darker wood adds a nice touch of contrast to top. There is a minor repair to the top that was professionally done and barely visible. Two leaves easily slide out from each end, giving it the following maximum measurements: 28-½”H x 111-⅝”W x 35-⅞”D. Each leaf is inset with rustic oak panels that are less finished than the top and are meant to be hidden by a table cloth when entertaining guests. With the leaves tucked away 6-8 chairs can fit comfortably around the table; when extended 10-12 can fit. Slightly tapered legs with brass sabot feet provide continuous support. Apron clearance is 23-¾”. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look at this wonderful dining table.
