French 19th Century Inlay Gueridon
-
Description
A wonderful gueridon from France, crafted in the 19th century, that showcases eye-catching inlay work throughout and features a white marble top encompassed by a unique pierced brass gallery. The apron houses two drawers and two slides with metal hardware to easily slide open. Both drink slides feature inset black leather tops in good condition and bring the maximum width to 40-¾”. Square legs with a sharp taper are fixed with brass sabot feet for continued support. The stone bears the marks of many decades of use- some discoloration and a small crack along the perimeter add to the tables antique charm. The inlay work on the apron has some repairs as well. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look at the table’s current condition and unique elements.
