French 19th Century Oak Farmhouse Console Table

$ 4,885
  • Description
    A 19th century solid oak farm table from France. The worn, patinated two-plank top bears the evidence of how essential this piece was in the kitchen. In the apron one finds a small drawer to the left and a large storage compartment behind a sliding panel that would have originally contained fresh bread. Squared legs gradually taper to the floor without the need for a stretcher, keeping the design open and light. Outside of a kitchen or dining area, this antique table is perfect as a console anywhere around the home. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready to join your interior. Be sure to look at the detailed images to see the current condition.
