French 19th Century Oak Harvest Table

$ 2,200
  • Description
    This antique French harvest table, or work table, from the 19th century is full of unique characteristics. The table surface, made from four planks of well-patinated oak, is held together by giant forged iron nails in a variety of sizes, whose nailheads dot the short sides of the top. Of the four carved and turned legs, the front two legs angle noticeably outward while the back two remain more straight against the wall. The legs are connected by flat stretchers with visible, mortise & tenon joinery. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready to use. Please view the detailed images.
