A French Antique Ormolu-Mounted mahogany envelope games card table, C. 1870, attributed to Henry Dasson.
A very elegant and high quality, French Louis XVI style, mahogany and bronze mounted games table - perfect for playing cards. The table is raised by slender circular fluted legs mounted with fine ormolu. The top opens in a unique handkerchief fashion with four triangles, unfolding to reveal a green felt game surface.
Very good condition overall, no damages noted. Minor wear consistent with age and use. Dirt buildup to some of the ormolu mounts. Retains original gilding. Ready to place.
