Exemplifying all that is grand and regal about the fantastic French Empire-style, this superb piece is expertly crafted from the timeless combination of malachite and gilt-bronze. Featuring foliate elements in a rich dark bronze band around the exterior, interspersed with rosettes, the vibrant green of the malachite forms the upper surface and legs of this richly gilt and adorned table. The legs are joined underneath, and this table, with its rich decoration and timeless grandeur is guaranteed to be both a functional piece and highlight of whichever room in which it is placed.
