A lovely petite Louis XV-style marble-top table with gold gilt finish and beautiful hand-carved details. A shaped white marble top with subtle veining sits atop a painted and gilt base with a shaped and trimmed apron featuring intricately carved half shell motifs resting in acanthus leaves and flanked by scrolls, florals and more acanthus on the corners and sides. Raised on slender curved and tapered legs joined by a shaped lower shelf that provides additional storage space and stability. Of beautiful proportions and elegant line, this petite table can be placed in any room of your home and moved around depending on your needs. Its wonderful patina, gold gilt, and beautiful marble top make it extremely decorative and suitable alongside antique and modern furnishings.
