Created in France during the 19th century, this walnut table showcases the stylistic characteristics of the Louis XIII era. The table features a rectangular planked top sitting above an apron concealing a single drawer. Grooved on the sides for the runner, this single drawer is fitted with bronze hardware. The ensemble is raised on four elegant turned legs with square block joints and turnip feet, connected to one another through an H-Form cross stretcher of similar turned style. With its elegant lines, subtle grace and dark walnut patina, this French Louis XIII style side table from the 19th century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, perhaps placed in a living room, bedroom or foyer, anchored with a pair of candlesticks and a giltwood mirror.
