French Louis XV Style Gilt & Marble Table

Description
An elaborate Louis XV style marble-top table with gold gilt finish and beautiful hand-carved details circa 1890.
Its original shaped and beveled marble top has wonderful coloring throughout and is removable for transport. The painted and gilt base has a scalloped and carved apron featuring floral and shell motifs and flanked by scrolls and more foliage on the corners and sides. Cabriole legs elegantly end with escargot feet and are connected with a curved X shaped stretcher topped with a shell finial.
