French counter furniture from the 20th century.
Original French counter from the first half of the 20th century.
Its robust structure is made entirely of solid oak wood without varnish.
The piece has chamfered front corners. The front and sides are decorated with quartered carving.
Its surface is bordered by a small oak railing turned in the shape of a baluster.
The railing is cut in the center to accommodate a grooved, oval brass coin tray that is recessed into the wooden surface.
The surface also has two articulated boards, which when folded down reveal a chest of drawers.
The back of the cabinet has several shelves at the bottom and two lockable drawers at the top. One is large and the other is small for money, so when opened, it rings a bell.
It is ideal as a counter or ticket office in an establishment or as a bar cabinet even in a home.
