-
Description
One of the earliest walnut slab coffee table handcrafted by George Nakashima in hi New Hope Studio. It was purchased by the original owner in 1959 and cherished in the family ever since. The walnut slab on top resembles the shape of America and the table was therefore affectionately called the "USA" table. Supported by three peg legs, the wood slab displays beautiful natural grains and many perfect imperfections such as knots, cracks worm holes and contoured edges. It is accompanied by an authentication letter from Mira Nakashima of Nakashima Studio.
