Italian walnut, brass. Brass details: Handles, foot and seven sections (each stand)
five walnut sticks
Measures: Height 65 cm, 65 x 42 cm height with our handle 51.5 cm
These items come directly from the original furniture of the Hotel (original Hotel Royal invoice).

a pair of luggage racks from the same provenience of gallery, in a different wood essence, was sold from Phillips Auction in march 2019 at £30.000
Sold with a copy of a letter of authentication from Lisa Licitra Ponti.

Lorenzo Ciompi is a private collector with a wide experience in Italian design achieved starting from the beginning of the 90's. His collection includes famous items designed by Gio Ponti as well as other well-known Italian designers such as Ico Pairisi, Osvaldo Borsani, Carlo De Carli , Carlo Mollino, Melchiorre Bega, Joe Colombo. A lot of furniture items projected by these designers were published on important magazines such as AD, The World Interiors, Elle, Domus.
