Description
Small Coffee Table by Scapinelli, Brazil, 1950's
This sculptural side table by Giuseppe Scapinelli features an organic frame in dark wood with elegantly curved legs and a raised edge. The round top holds an inset marble slab with natural veining. The piece reflects Scapinelli’s signature blend of mid-century modernism and Brazilian craftsmanship, balancing structure and fluidity.
Giuseppe Scapinelli was an Italian-born designer who built his career in Brazil, where he became known for his distinctive furniture. His designs often fused European refinement with Brazilian materials, resulting in pieces with flowing lines and sculptural elegance. Active in the 1950s and 1960s, his work remains sought after today. -
