Guy Lefevre for Ligne Roset end table 1970’s
-
Description
The boxy, clean design of this end table, by Guy Lefevre for Ligne Roset, balances the best of mid-century modern design with a contemporary look. Chunky feet made from polished steel lend it a sturdy appearance—and indeed this piece is quite heavy—and the large, rectangular surface is lacquered in shades of bronze, appearing dappled, with light patches melting into dark. The bronze lacquer has a warm, inviting feel, which contrasts nicely against the industrial look of the steel feet. It was high-quality made and today is in very good vintage condition, perfect for a graceful splash of mid-century modern sleekness in an otherwise contemporary interior. The matching coffee table is also available to sell.
