Beautiful Mid-Century Modern expandable dining table, by Henning Kjærnullf for Vejle Støle & Møbelfabrik, 1960’s. Featuring richly grained, gleaming teak and smooth, clean lines characteristic of classic Danish design. This remarkable dining table comes with two extension leaves to accommodate extra seating, transforming seating capacity from four to six or eight. With two leaves inserted, this table expands to 106 3/8″ (8.86 ft. feet) long! Well-crafted, with synchronous extension, which accommodates the need for just one person to extend the table for easy access. The clever design allows for each leaf to be concealed within the hidden storage beneath the table, making this remarkable table effortless to remove or stow leaves. An amazing model, the table is beautifully formed, the top displays match book teak grain strikingly gorgeous of a deep rich patina and remains in great condition. Fully extended, it becomes a large conference table and without leaves the table is a perfect size for small areas, measuring 71″ wide characteristically sleek and functional and exudes an aesthetic beauty as well making it perfect for the modern interior. The tabletop rests on a pair intricately carved pedestals, providing stable support. Also, available Danish Modern teak Dining chairs (sold separately). The perfect table for a kitchen or dining room, and due to size flexibility, will function wonderfully in a small or large space.
