This iconic Mid-Century Modern executive desk was the result of a collaboration between the masterful Italian architect and designer, Ico Parisi and his wife, Luisa, a student of Gio Ponti. The "Terni" desk, as it was named, was manufactured by and shown in the catalogue of MM Roma, Mobili Italiani Modern. This beautifully constructed two-sided desk features three rosewood and aluminum drawers in the front with two more in the back and pull out shallow drawers. The elegant slightly curved mahogany top rests on black angled legs connected by a stretcher. The "Terni" desk epitomizes the high-end modernist style of the1950s that the Paris's were so influential in creating and his compatible with an array of design styles.

This desk is in very fine vintage condition and has been lightly refinished. There is a subtle indentation on the top that can only be seen from a certain angle and does not detract from the aesthetics.
