Italian Mid-Century Round Coffee /Side Table in Brass & Marble, Attr. Ico Parisi
-
Description
An Exceptional Italian Mid-Century Cocktail / Coffee Table or Side / End Table in the Modern Neoclassical Style attributed to Ico Parisi, Italy, circa 1951. This elegant and timeless table is a gem expressing a purity of lines, form, materials and purpose. The central focus is the refined solid brass tripod base and the elegant, tapered central stem arising from it to support a top of veined Italian marble. The aesthetic is pure and minimal and defined by perfect proportions of the brass base to the tapered stem. This definition is aided by a dynamic balance of color between polished brass base, the ebony stem and rose & burnt umber tinted marble. Furthermore, the table is multi-functional in purpose and readily movable to suit need. Overall, it is a small masterpiece of beauty and design. Dimensions: Height: 19 x Diameter: 19.75”
