Italian marble, ebonised and gilt wood dining table
Italian, 20th Century
Height 78cm, width 270cm, depth 110cm
This large and elegant dining table is designed in the Neoclassical style. The table features a beautiful marble top with curved ends, which is supported by a parcel gilt ebonised wood apron, the wood carved with a superb array of foliate motifs. The table is supported by two massive legs, each of tapering form, carved with rich detailing, and ebonised and parcel gilt. The table is a fine example of 20th century Italian Neoclassicism. -
