J.C. Mahey for Paco Rabanne black Portoro marble dining table brass 1979
-
Description
Incredible Portoro French marble table signed Paco Rabanne 1979 on the top base area, and designed by Jean-Claude Mahey. With its impeccable design, perfect proportions, and high-end Portoro marble and brass materials, it was likely a hugely expensive undertaking. Yet, the resulting symmetry and beauty is a worthy result of such efforts. The elongated octagonal shape of the table offers a final punch of individuality, shirking the typical oval or rectangle shape. Fully restored to very good vintage condition, this table reveals stunning attention to detail at every bend. It is a fascinating Paco Rabanne masterpiece. The table comes in two pieces the top and the base. This table is very heavy and the perfect size dining table for the discerning buyer.
