A Regency Rosewood and Brass-Inlaid Writing Desk, in the manner of John Mclean.
The rectangular top with gadrooned edge and two drawer superstructure mounted with pierced geometric gilt brass panels and columns supporting a top shelf with three quarter gallery; the long drawer centered by a brass inlaid pane; raised on gilt metal mounted, ring turned tapering legs ending in brass caps and castors. The long drawer with replaced hardware.
