Extendable Dining Table by John Van Zeeland - 1930's
-
Description
Extendable wooden dining table in Modernist style, designed by Belgian architect John Van Zeeland in the 1930s. This dining table was part of the interior of a Belgian listed building, "Dokterswoning Prové". In addition to the heritage building itself, the original furniture is also very valuable today. This dining table features exquisite woodworking with a charismatic patina. It's a clear design, focussing on form and material. When extended, the table is measured: W 277 cm, D 100 cm, H 79 cm. When closed: W 150 cm, D 100 cm, H 80 cm. The matching John Van Zeeland dining chairs are available in another listing. Together they make a striking dining room set. The dining table is in excellent original condition.
