Minimalist Console r sofa table with aluminum frame and glass shelves designed by John Vesey (1924-1992) for John Vesey Inc circa 1950s. Signature work by John Vesey who was known for his modern reinterpretation of classic design and use of metal such as aluminum and brass. Subtle details of the brass accents such as finials and caps and architecturally shaped feet are also exquisitely present in his design, and exemplified in this piece. His work was sought after for the elite for their timeless look with a reference to classic forms. This piece makes a great table to display small art collections.
