This exceptional cherry trumpet pedestal table originates from the most prolific Viennese cabinet maker during the Biedermeier era, Josef Danhauser. His pieces reflect innovative design and highest quality craftsmanship.

Viennese Biedermeier because of their sophisticated proportions and rare and refined design continue to have a great influence on modern design.

The table is beautifully veneered in cherry wood and featuring fine inlays and ebonzied banding on the eight-sided center column which descends to a scooped-edge base.
The table top has a lovely cheery book-matched veneer
accentuated by a deep amber tone of french polish finish and 200 years old patina.

The piece is in very good condition.

The table will be a great complement to any elegant interior. It does not matter whether it is a classic or modern interior because Biedermeier is simply timeless.
