Rosewood nesting tables by Kaj Winding, Denmark 1960s

Description
Rosewood and formica nesting tables by Kaj Winding for P. Jeppesens Møbelfabrik, Denmark 1960s
The craftsmanship on these pieces is truly marvellous. Standing next to the 'curva' chairs by Brazilian designer Joaquim Tenreiro a lot of visitors of the gallery presume it's also Tenreiro's work because of the high quality and similar delicacy of the legs and we totally get that.
Note: For a long time these nesting tables have been attributed to Grete Jalk for P. Jeppesens Møbelfabrik, Denmark 1960s. However recent research seems to indicate that although they are mentioned on the same page of Mobilia no 85, 1962, together with 3 pieces by Grete Jalk, this set actually was not by her but by Kaj Winding
Smallest table marked with producer's and designer's mark. In excellent condition.
