Original Knoll Eero Saarinen 42" Pedestal Table

Classic Mid-Century Modern original, the round Saarinen Tulip pedestal table was designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll Furniture in 1956. This iconic MCM dining table measures at 42" in diameter and seats 4-5 people. It features its original white, satin smooth laminate top which screws down onto a single-threaded rod on the top of the very heavy and sturdy base, attaching to a sub-top with three screws. Base is a heavy molded cast aluminum with white paint. The KnollStudio logo, the date 1956 and signature of Eero Saarinen are stamped into the underside of the table top. This table looks barely used and is in excellent condition.
