LARGE FRENCH EMPIRE PERIOD CONSOLE TABLE
Fine quality mahogany veneered console table. One long drawer with fine gilt bronze mounts illustrating laurel wreaths, acanthus leaves and roses in the Empire style.
The back mounted with a mirror between two shallow rectangular legs, the front legs circular columns mounted with finely incised gilt bronze mounts, all resting on a flame mahogany base.
Rouge griotte marble with small white flecks.
France, c. 1810.
