Leonardo Ricci, Dining table in metal and marble, Italy, 1950s
-
Description
The table was designed by Leonardo Ricci (1918-1994) for one of his own projects in the 1950s and, therefore, it is a unique piece, not intended for serial production.
The base of the table, in fire-painted iron and brass, was in perfect condition, while the top, probably not original, was unusable.
In thinking of a possible new top, we were inspired by Giò Ponti's interventions at Villa Planchard in Caracas, imagining a patchwork of different types of marble: in this way, a top with a strong connotation and character, could dialogue with a metal base. of linear and almost essential shapes.
The marbles used are: Siena Yellow, Marquina, Statuario Carrara, Rosso Levanto, Nero Assoluto and Verde Alpi.
The price does not include delivery duties.
Feel free to ask a quotation for the transport. -
