LOUIS XVI FINE QUALITY CARVED GILTWOOD DEMI-LUNE CONSOLE TABLE
The top apron decorated with carved acanthus leaves and rosettes, and with a central bow. Four carved swags of flowers hang equidistant around the apron.
Supported on four tapering legs, acanthus leaves decorate the top of each fluted leg. A stretcher joins the four legs in the lower portion and in the centre of this support is a carved urn, supporting a garland of flowers which rises over the top of it from each side. The legs terminate in carved gilt ball feet.
With a shaped white Carrara marble top. France c. 1785.
