Scandinavian modern design is a style of interior design that originated in the Nordic countries in the early 20th century and is known for its simplicity, functionality, and warmth. Clean lines and simple lines are used to create a clean and fresh aesthetic. focusing on neutral colors and natural materials. The table appears to have had minimal intervention over its 75 year plus history.
