Maison Baguès foliage bronze blue lacquered console table 1960s
-
Description
This beautiful two-tier console table by French house Maison Baguès was created in the early 1960s with solid foliage shaped bronze structure and a beautiful dark Ocean blue lacquered shelf and top. The dark blue lacquered shelves are deep and strong, while the bronze foliage feet and structure details provide an imaginative base for the piece. This console table is typical of the Chinese inspired work of Maison Baguès in the 1950s and 1960s, and offers a timeless, sophisticated look, with plenty of amazing details. The bronze structure has been clean, and has a beautiful patina, while the lacquer has been fully restored, and found in a beautiful vintage condition.
