An Elegant and Timeless Pair of French Midcentury Modern Neoclassical Side or End Tables in Gilt Bronze and Marble by Maison Bagues.The tables are created with a sensuous and rare Bagues form utilizing a pair of curved X-form, interlaced stretchers uniting 4 delicately tapered and footed legs. The effects are subtle and dramatic in creating an effortless flow of harmony and balance. The entire structure is in gilt bronze that has sturdy weight and features extraordinary detailing in the form of interlaced faux bamboo leaves. The tables are topped with their original rich red veined Italian marble. They are classic pieces imparting dignity and taste.
