Maitland Smith Tessellated Coconut Shell Console Table

Offered for sale is a striking late 20th-century console table by Maitland Smith . The top and sides of the table are clad in tessellated tiles of crushed and polished coconut shell that is inset between the woof frame edges. The tessellated shell has the rich coloring of Tortoise shell. The shelf below that acts as a stretcher and is a handy storage solution. The piece is marked as Made in the Philippines.
