Description
Marble-top Louis XV style console table by Jansen. This is a fine and early example of French design at its best. This Louis XV style console has a deep serpentine design leg with a lower support under-carriage displaying a shell design with flowing vine and flowers leading to an upper shell design apron. The entire casing with deep curved and serpentine sides and front. The whole supporting a wonderful marble-top. This piece would add elegance as well as bold design to any area it would sit in. An early and certainly custom piece designed by the popular designer Maison Jansen. The marble having been expertly repair quite some time ago.
